This page describes what this site collects, what it publishes, and what it does not do. It is short because the site does very little.

What is collected

A holder name, only if you choose to give one. An email address, only if you are sending the ticket to someone else. Your payment details are entered on Stripe’s own checkout page and are never seen by, or sent to, this site.

What is published, permanently

Every cleared purchase is written to a public, append-only record: the destination, the amount, the time, and the holder name as given. That record is designed so it cannot be edited or deleted afterwards, which means a name written into it cannot later be removed. If you would rather no name were published, choose the bearer option at checkout — the ticket then reads BEARER and nothing in the record ties it to you.

What is not published

Email addresses are never shown in the public record and are used only to deliver the ticket. Nothing is sold, shared or used for advertising, and nobody is added to a mailing list.

Rate limiting

To keep gifting from becoming a bulk-send tool, the number of tickets that can be issued to other people is limited per day. This is enforced against a one-way hash of the network address, not the address itself.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies. The share buttons are plain links; they report nothing back until you actually use one.

Analytics

Page views are counted, using PostHog. It is served from this domain rather than from an analytics company’s servers, so your browser never contacts a third party while you are here, and your IP address is not passed on to them. Session recording is off, so nothing you type is ever recorded — which matters on a page with a payment form. Clicks and page views are captured automatically, which is how we can tell which ticket people look at; what is stored is the element pressed, not its contents. The fields where you would enter a name or an email address are excluded outright and are never sent. Nothing is linked to your name, your email, or your ticket, and if your browser sends Do Not Track, nothing is collected at all.

Payment data

Card details are handled entirely by Stripe, which stores them under its own terms and privacy policy. This site receives only the fact that a payment cleared, and the email address Stripe collects for the receipt.

Requests

Write to the support address for any question about data held about you. Note the limit stated above: entries already written into the public record cannot be altered or removed, which is the property that makes the record worth anything.
